SDF Promotes Commissioned Officers.
In a ceremony held at State House this morning, 08 officers were promoted to their new ranks by the President of the Republic, Mr. Wavel Ramkalawan, who is also Commander-in-Chief of the Seychelles Defence Forces.
The following eight officers have been promoted to the rank of Lieutenant;
2nd Lt. Ryan Mussard, Jonathan Rose, Dylan Renaud, Jean Paul Suzette, Jean Yves Rose, Daniel Sanguignon, Archil Marimba and Alexander Stravens.
President Ramkalawan congratulated the officers and wished them all the best in their new ranks and to always put Seychelles first and foremost in their duties, he also reminded them that promotions come with added responsibilities and duties.
Among those who attended the ceremony was the Vice President Mr. Ahmed Afif, , Commisioner of Police Mr. Ted Barbe, Honorable Clifford Andre, Members of the Defence and Security Committee in the National Assembly, members of the Defence Forces Council and other senior government officials aswell as family members of the newly promoted officers.
