🇸🇨 Seychelles Defence Forces Continue to Lead in Global Maritime Training 🌍⚓
The Seychelles Defence Forces (SDF) are proud to announce that Corporal Kenny Sultan has once again been deployed as an instructor under the UNODC Global Maritime Crime Programme (GMCP) marking his third overseas mission as a certified UNODC instructor, all conducted in Haiti.
During this deployment, he and the GMCP Caribbean team are conducting two (2) advanced VBSS (Visit, Board, Search and Seizure) courses and one (1) basic VBSS course for officers of the Haitian Coast Guard, representing three different bases across the country.
This ongoing training aims to strengthen Haiti’s maritime law enforcement capabilities, enhance regional cooperation, and share best practices in maritime security operations.
Following the conclusion of the Haiti mission, Corporal Sultan will continue his international engagement with a two week Small Boat Law Enforcement Training alongside the Royal Bahamas Defence Force in the Bahamas.
His continuous commitment and professionalism reflect the Seychelles growing leadership role in global maritime security and its strong partnership with UNODC in promoting safety and stability across the world’s oceans.
We salute Corporal Sultan for proudly representing Seychelles once again on the international stage 🇸🇨
